Jungle nails
Step by Step
Mint Tint brand ambassador, Nikki Hunter, has created this jungle nail design.
Step 1
First using Mint Tint Builder in the shade Blush, paint an even coat onto the prepped nail and cure for 90 seconds.
Step 2
Take 2 shades of gel polish - I have used Mint Tint shades Carico Lake and Love Bug. Apply with a brush diagonally across the nail. Cure in lamp for 60 seconds.
Step 3
Apply Green foil in random places using the inhibition layer.
Step 4
Apply 1 layer of Mint Tint Matte Topcoat and cure for 90 seconds in the lamp.
Step 5
With a detailer brush, use Mint Tint Art Gel in White and Colour Gel in Love Bug to paint some foliage, spacing them out around the edges of nail. Cure for 90 seconds.
Step 6
Once cured, apply one thin coat of Mint Tint Clear Builder Gel and cure for 90 seconds. Wipe the inhibition layer, ready to paint your black foliage leaves.
Step 7
Using Mint Tint Art Gel in the shade Black with a longer detailer brush, paint more foliage over the whole design, making sure you see some of the earlier design coming through as background. When you are happy, cure for 90 seconds then apply Mint Tint Shiny Non Wipe Topcoat to finish your jungle nail design. To finish the look, cure for 60 seconds.
