Jade stone nails
Step by Step
Salon System nail expert, Jaz Moger, has created a jade stone step-by-step using GELLUX.
Step 1
File the nails to shape, push the cuticles back with the GELLUX Cuticle Handy Manicure Tool and gently buff the nail plate with a white block. Thoroughly wipe nails with GELLUX Nail + File Cleansing Spray and a lint free pad. When the nails are dry, apply GELLUX Fast Bond and let it dry for 30 seconds. Then, apply one very thin layer of the GELLUX Builder Gel in Light Pink and cure. Using a fine liner and GELLUX Purely White, paint some wiggly line onto each nail. Do not cure.
Step 2
Using a slightly bigger nail art brush and some GELLUX Prep + Wipe, dab along the white line to make it ‘bleed’ a little. Once happy with it, cure.
Step 4
Mix GELLUX Rush Hour with a small amount of Clear Base & Top Coat, paint onto the nail randomly and cure.
Step 4
Next, paint over the nail with a thin coat of GELLUX Builder Gel in Cool White, and smudge in some GELLUX Lucky Shamrock, and cure for 60 seconds.
Step 5
After curing, wipe over each nail plate with Salon System Acetone. Using a dotting tool and some nail glue, paint a line of glue all the way around the edge of the nail. Once the glue has gone clear, dab gold foil over the nail to create the foiled edge.
Step 6
Finish the design by doing two coats of GELLUX Super Shiny Top Coat and curing between each layer. Once cured, wipe over the nails with GELLUX Prep + Wipe and oil the cuticles.
