Build and file an extreme nail with the help of Kostka Bojana, master nail artist, educator & founder of Kostka Nail System, who shares a step-by-step below.
Step 1
Cut the nail form accordingly to fit the hyponychium and thickness of the finger.
Step 2
To build extreme length, you need a product that is strong and not elastic, so you can file the nail properly without the risk of breaking. Kostka Nail System's Extreme Line is specially created for my extreme forms and gives me endless possibilities in my work.
Step 3
Remove the nail form very gently.
Step 4
File the cuticle area, apex and sidewalls.
Step 5

File straight free edges.
Step 7
File round free edges with an E-file.
Step 8
File straight from the apex to the tip of the nail.
Step 9
File lateral sides of the tip of the nail.

File the tip of the nail from above and underneath.

This is the final look and thickness of the free edges after filing.
