How to create a festival-ready nail look

Halo VIP, Hari Hatfield, channels retro styling with a bold, bright nail style for festival season.
All shades used are from the Halo Summer Throwback gel polish collection, available via www.purenails.co.uk
Step 1
Prep the nails and apply Halo Gel Polish Base Coat or Halo EasiBuild in Cover-Up Pink, depending on the client’s nail needs. Cure, then paint elongated teardrop shapes at either end of each nail, using Halo Gel Polish in Girl Power and a long liner brush. Cure.
Step 2
Outline the teardrop shapes in lines of varying thickness using Halo Gel Polish in Groovy Chick. This will give the effect of a lava lamp. Cure when happy with the result.
Step 3
Using the same technique as step two, outline the Groovy Chick swirl with Halo Gel Polish shade, Oasis, and cure.
Step 4
Fill in the space around the Oasis lines using Halo Gel Polish in Lime Soda, ensuring all of the base is covered. Cure.
Step 5
Using Halo Gel Polish shade, Jellies, paint blob shapes over the Lime Soda layer, similar to the first teardrop shape in step one. Cure. Follow with an application of Halo Non-Wipe Top Coat. Cure, then finish with cuticle oil.
