Halo PoliBuild ombré nail design
Step by Step
Nicole Dowling, Pure Nails ambassador, reveals how to create this ombré design using products from Halo’s PoliBuild range, available via www.purenails.co/stockists.
Step 1
Prep nail, and use Halo Prep and Scrub to dehydrate the nail plate.
Step 2
Apply Halo Gel Polish Rubber Base Coat and cure for 30 seconds.
Step 3
Fit Halo Elite Nail Forms.
Step 4
Using PoliBuild in the shade Clear, create a very thin base layer and cure for 60 seconds.
Step 5
File base the layer into shape.
Step 6
Apply PoliBuild in the shade Bright White to the tip of nail. Press down using Halo PoliBuilt Liquid Control and blend up towards the cuticle. Cure for 60 seconds.
Step 7
Apply PoliBuild in the shade Sheer Pink to the cuticle area of the nail, building your apex and blending down over the white to create an ombré effect. Cure for 60 seconds.
Step 8
Cap your Bright White in PoliBuild in the shade Clear and cure for 60 seconds.
Step 9
Using Halo Prep and Scrub on a lint free wipe remove the tacky layer. Refine and shape your nail. Add a thin layer of Halo Gel Polish in the shade Hologram for a shimmer effect over the pink, and cure for 30 seconds. Apply Halo Gel Polish Non Wipe Top Coat.
