Step 1

Prep nails and file to shape. Apply a base coat followed by a coat of a white polish. Wait for it to dry fully.

Using a sponge and a range of blue polishes create a gradient.

Paint two horizontal lines to create the borders for your pattern using a thin striper brush and an opaque black polish.

Draw a capital 'L' within the borders and follow with an upside down capital 'L'. Continue with that pattern until you reach the end of your nail.

Create a horizontal zig zag above your pattern. Outline the border first to make sure your design is parallel to the existing pattern.
Step 6

Repeat step 5 on the other side of your pattern and smooth it out with a top coat.
