Magpie Beauty educator, Nicolette Safar-Manesh, created this step-by-step tutorial for a floral milk bath nail look using Magpie’s new Dried Flowers collection.

Step 1

Apply a thin layer of Magpie Beauty Build Me Up in the shade 'Cloud'. Cure for 60 seconds.

Step 2

Apply a second coat of Build Me Up in the shade 'Cloud', but don’t cure yet.

Step 3

Using a pair of tweezers, place your dried flowers in random places over the entire nail, into the un-cured gel.

Step 4

Make sure the dried flowers are as flat as possible, then cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.

Step 5

Apply a thin layer of Build Me Up in the shade 'Cloud'. Focus on the areas around the dried flowers. Cure for 60 seconds.

Step 6

Apply a final coat of Build Me Up in the shade 'Cloud'. Don’t cure yet.

Step 7

Before curing, use a gel brush to brush away a little bit of the gel on top of the flowers and leaves to reveal a little more of the colour. Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.

Step 8

Apply a thin layer of the clear Build Me Up and cure for 60 seconds.

Step 9

Wipe off the inhibition layer with Prep & Dehydrate. Use a 240-grit file to get rid of any bumps on the nail and make it smooth.

Step 10

Apply Magpie Beauty Don’t Be Tacky top coat and cure for 60 seconds. Finish the entire look using all the different colours in the Magpie Beauty Dried Flowers range.
