Blue quartz nails

Step by Step
Salon System nail expert, Julie-Anne Larivière, has created a dreamy blue quartz nail design using the Gellux range of products.
All products mentioned are available via wholesalers nationwide.
Step 1

Prepare the nails and wipe over with the GELLUX Prep+Wipe. Apply the GELLUX Fast Bond and allow to dry for 30 seconds. Next, apply the GELLUX Cover Pink Base Coat and cure for 30 seconds.

Firstly, apply one coat of GELLUX Frosty and cure.
Step 3

Using a makeup sponge applicator, or nail art sponge brush, dab some GELLUX Stormy and GELLUX Mermaid randomly onto the nails, and cure.

Apply another thin coat of GELLUX Frosty and cure.
Step 5

Then, using a thin nail art brush dip it in to GELLUX Prep+Wipe, brush along those lines to blur them a little, cure for 30 seconds.
Step 6

Onto a paint palette or piece of foil, mix some GELLUX Frosty with a very small amount of GELLUX Mermaid to create a sheer light blue. Paint this on all nails using a gel brush. Cure all nails for 60 seconds.

Repeat steps 6 and 7 on all nails, cure for 60 seconds.
Apply some holographic foil to some random areas of the nails.

Finally apply the GELLUX Matte Base & Top Coat and cure for 60 seconds. Next wipe the nails with GELLUX Prep+Wipe and GELLUX Nail & Cuticle Oil.
