A Floral Fantasy with Gelish
Floral, Step by Step
Nail Harmony UK educator, Nicole Parker, reveals how to create this pretty floral design using Gelish’s spring 2019 collection, The Colour Of Petals, and Gelish Art Form Gels.

Step 1
After completing Gelish nail prep and overlay on all other nails, apply a thin coat of Gelish Gel Polish in Gardenia My Heart to the ring finger nail, making sure to cap the free edge. Cure for 30 seconds in the 18G LED Light. Repeat for full coverage.
Step 2
With the Gelish Art Form Gels, mix Red, Yellow and Black from the Essentials range to achieve a brown shade. Next, apply the product on a sponge and dab onto the nail creating an ombre effect. Cure for 30 seconds.
Step 3
Using a Mini Striper Brush and Gelish Art Form Gel in Black, paint an outline of the flower, leaves and stems. Cure for 30 seconds.
Step 4
With the Mini Striper Brush, fill in the flower petals using Gelish Art Form Gel in Red at the centre, Neon Pink towards the outer petals and Pastel Light Pink at the outer edge. Next, fill in the leaves using Gelish Art Form Gel in Blue at the centre, Green towards the outer leaves and Yellow at the outer edge. Do not cure.
Step 5
Using the Mini Striper Brush, blend the flower petals to create an ombre effect. Repeat thestep to blend the leaves. With Gelish Art Form Gel in Essential White and the Mini Striper Brush, create highlights on the petals and leaves. Continue adding additional designs. Cure for 30 seconds. Apply Gelish Top It Off to the entire nail making sure to cap the free edge. Cure for 30 seconds. With Nail Surface Cleanse and Wipe It Off lint-free wipes, cleanse the inhibition layer of the nail.
Step 6
Finish the look by massaging Nourish Cuticle Oil into the skin surrounding the nail plate.
