Winners of the Malaysian Momo Make-Up Comp

Scratch editor-in-chief, Alex Fox, was invited to join the judging panel for the Momo Make-Up Competition, hosted by Stephy Pang of the Momo Make-Up Academy in Malaysia.

A make-up academy with a wide portfolio of courses for nails and make-up, Momo embraces and inspires creativity, innovative international techniques and professionalism to ensure its students reach high levels of education and success.

The current pandemic outbreak has had severe consequences across the globe,” states organiser & director, Stephy Pang (who has in the past been on the Nailympia judges panel in London). “This has not only has consequences for the economy, all of society has been affected, which has led to dramatic changes in how businesses act and consumers behave. In our beauty line, we at Momo, have offered a make-up, nails academy and salon services for almost 14 years in the state of Jahore in Malaysia. Our business model makes it a little difficult to work from home, however, after much thought and deliberation we have moved some of our activities online. This online make-up competition, is our first lockdown project, where we inspired students to engage in creativity, self-cultivation and motivation to challenge themselves during these difficult times.
