Sherrie Farris

We want to see what you’re wearing on your nails!

Sherrie Farris, of Sherrie’s Nails, wears a pretty pastel bumblebee and daisy-inspired design.

“I’ve always loved pastel yellow nails but personally never been brave enough to wear it… Lockdown gave me the opportunity to try it and I love it! I will definitely embrace these shades more often. Being springtime with lots of daisies and bumblebees around, I thought it was a great nail colour to pair with this design.

“I used CND Shellac shades in Exquisite, Banana Clips, Cream Puff, Black Pool and Aura, as well as Lecenté brushes S1 and D3.

  • Apply two coats of Exquisite, curing each time.
  • With a dotting tool and Banana Clips, randomly paint small dots and cure.
  • Using the Lecenté D3 Brush and Cream Puff, apply small petals around each dot and cure.
  • With Lecenté S1 and Aura, paint a thin line as the stem followed by a small petal and cure.
  • Apply small oval shapes with Banana Clips and cure.
  • Place two very small dots above your yellow ‘bee’ dots with Cream Puff, and then drag to a point touching the bee to create wings.
  • Using Black Pool and Lecenté S1, paint two single, fine lines onto the yellow. Also create a tiny point at the tip and cure.
  • Finish with your desired top coat!

“I love floral nail art and the delicate, intricate design really complements the colours, too!”
