WHAT I’M WEARING: Nicolette Safar-Manesh, Nicolette’s Nails

Nicolette Safar-Manesh, of Nicolette’s Nails, wears a hand painted floral-filled nail look.

“I started by using the Magpie Beauty prep system and then applied two coats of Goodness Gracious Me from the Magpie Beauty Gel Polish range. I then used a dotting tool to paint the background colours of the flowers and then I added the detail of the leaves and flowers using the Magpie Beauty Detailer Brush.

“I had been thinking for weeks of what design to have on my nails for the Professional Beauty show in London and then one afternoon when the sun was shining I decided to go floral for the event.

“I take a lot of my inspiration from amazing nail technicians around the world through their Instagram accounts. I also had an old notepad front cover that helped me get inspiration for this design with the colours.

“I love nail designs that stand out and are noticeable to people. I have had so many comments on these nails over the past few weeks and it’s been such a great advert to gain customers in my area. Especially when people ask if they are transfers or stickers and I explain to them that they are actually hand painted. It makes me feel so happy to think that people think they are good enough to look that perfect.”
