WHAT I’M WEARING: Nicola Cooper

We want to see what you’re wearing on your nails!
Talented tech, Nicola Cooper, opted for a bright and beautiful tie dye nail look using a variety of Magpie Beauty products.
“I created this design using products from my favourite brand, Magpie Beauty. I started with a layer of Plain Jane, which is their white gel polish. I wanted to make the colours really pop so I mixed Magpie Beauty’s gel polish colours with its neon Nail Pigments. I applied the colours in random lines to the cured layer of the white. Without curing the colours at this stage, I used the Magpie Beauty Striping Brush to drag the shades together to create the tie-dye effect.
“I like to keep my nails interesting and my clients are always keen to see what designs I’m wearing when they come in. I’d been talking with my client about her next design and she told me I could do what I wanted! I wanted to incorporate summer vibes, festival looks and pride themes all into one set of nails. I love to create and experiment so I used myself as a guinea pig and came up with the tie-dye idea. As soon as my client saw the tie-dye nails she wanted them straight away.
“I love how bright and unique these nails are and they’re perfect for the summer season. I can’t wait to do more designs like this!”
