We want to see what you’re wearing on your nails!

Lisa Lilley, of Love Lilley Nails, wears seasonal hues of green for a sophisticated yet glam nail look seeing marble effects and glitter.

“For this nail design, I used Gelish in Ice Skate You Skate, Arctic Freeze and Last Call. I also used Magpie Beauty Glitter in Olivia on the ring finger, Hazel Dixon’s Rose Gold Striping Tape and some Cover Pink Structure Gel.

“On the ring finger I applied the colour first and then burnished Olivia into the tacky layer and top coated. For the marbled nails, I painted one coat of Ice Skate You Skate and then, before curing, I used a fine detailer brush to drag through Arctic Freeze and Last Call. I then used the top coat to swipe through the colour to blur the lines and produce the marble effect.

“For the middle finger, I first applied the Cover Pink Structure Gel before creating the marble effect only on the tip of the nail in a diagonal section, finishing off with striping tape, curing and top coating twice.

“I created these for my friend’s 50th birthday party. Green is my favourite colour so I knew no matter what my outfit was, I wanted green nails! The design is so easy to wear as it seems to go with everything – I’ve had so many compliments on the set, too. I’m sure I will be doing lots of variations of this design on my clients in the future!”
