Talented tech, Kayley Cairns, wears arctic ice stiletto nails accompanied by glistening embellishments.
“These nails were created using Pro Impressions stiletto tips and liquid and powder. As I’ve been super busy I chose to use tips instead of sculpting as I find it quicker.
“For the ombre nails I used HD Pro in Dusty Rose blended over HD Pro in Arctic Ice. For my index and little finger I encapsulated angel paper in clear acrylic.
“There wasn’t a specific inspiration for these – I really built the design around the colour of arctic ice, picking the angel paper as it paired well and then choosing the colours of the flowers to compliment the colours that reflected in the angel paper. As these nails were for the Scratch Stars Awards party, I wanted them to be special. Adorning the nails with Swarovski crystals ramps up the glam and finishes the look. I included a star shape Swarovski crystal on my index finger as a nod to the event!
“My favourite thing about these nails is the dreamy, soft colour combination – they are girly and feminine without being pink (I never wear pink!) and they make me think of fairytales or princesses!”
