Elysia Harmony, of Elysia’s Harmony Nail Artistry & Education, wears fiery red and orange enhancements.
“As a nail technician, I find it relatively easy to have longer length nails but wanted to understand what challenges my clients face. Since the Covid-19 outbreak I have put a hold on the nail business and taken a job as a key worker in a warehouse. This way I thought I could understand the challenges facing clients with manual jobs and prove its possible to still have long, beautiful nails.
“I also wanted to keep trying new designs and shapes to improve my skills and have been watching the Ikon.IQ Nails webinars so that, when I can re-open, I’m even better than before.
“Due to life being very different at the moment, I wanted bold and bright nails that put a smile on my face and others. So, sparkly and sunny colours were essential. My daughter and I were playing with some swatching and she did something similar with one that I loved so I changed the colours for mine and added sparkle.
“This design is really simple and quick but looks super effective – and it is guaranteed to make me smile. It also makes a lot of the others in the warehouse smile – mostly at home long they are, but the fact that it brightens peoples’ days is what is important!”
