We want to see what you’re wearing on your nails!

Diana Pajeva, of Diana’s Nail Art, wears a brown and gold geode-inspired nail look.

“In order to create this design I used Gelish shades, Areopuffing Matte Top Coat, Apres art inks, transfer gel with gold foil and gold leaf for details.

“When it comes to using art inks, you have to practice a bit in order to understand how they work. I find that it’s easy to overdo it and get the ‘messy’ look. My strategy is to apply fewer lines or drops and keep adding more later on if needed. Don’t forget that you have to apply the alcohol art inks on a matte surface for it to work. I used hard gel on my ring finger to create a 3D stone effect, but any clear thick gel will work.

“I love looking at the amazing geode style patterns that can be created using resin. I find those videos absolutely mesmerising to watch and would love to create something like that myself one day. For now, however, I thought it would be great to play with art inks a little bit and try to imitate a similar pattern on my nails. This whole design was actually created around the brown/gold geode-inspired look on the middle finger.

“I love the combination of brown, black and gold art inks. When I look at the marble texture, I feel like I want to look at it closer to see more detail. I love the way the matte top coat on the ring finger makes the 3D stone stand out even more. Every nail is different, but I love how gold accent tie this design together and create harmony between all of them.

“I’m left handed and this design was created with my right hand, which made it twice as difficult! So I love that my left hand is wearing a more intricate design for a change.”
