Founded by entrepreneur George Hammer, Urban Retreat Collective is another vine to the Urban Retreat business.
It offers hair, beauty and wellness professionals the opportunity to run their own business independently, while also being part of a community.
With various sized beauty suites and therapy rooms, nail, makeup and hair stations, as well as fitness and wellness studios, a wide range of services can be offered from the space from a variety of experts. The White House is in the centre of Knightsbridge and only requires minimum commitment of half a day a week.
With no obligation to use any specific brand, each member of the collective can set their own hours, services and rates. They also have the added benefit of a booking system and their own personal micro site hosted on the Urban Retreat’s website. They can also be included in marketing materials, events and have access to a community of like-minded beauty professionals.
What is required?
- Three years + experience
- Accredited qualifications and certifications in all modalities/treatments offered by the therapist
- Professional insurance
- An existing client base
