Toni Honey, of Tony Honey Nail & Beauty Academy, reveals that soft, nude marble designs have been popular with her clients recently.
“I think it’s been requested so much due to the marble craze still being so popular on Instagram and all over social media. The nude colour is so beautiful and wearable without being too in your face!
“To create the marbled nails I used two coats of CNDTM SHELLACTM in Beau, curing in between each coat, before applying another layer of Beau and adding some stripes of CNDTM SHELLACTM in Cream Puff while uncured. Using a touch of isopropyl alcohol and a stipple brush, I carefully blended the lines and cured fully. Using a bit more of Cream Puff on a detailer brush, I then added some very fine lines to create more definition to the marble. To finish, I used Akzentz Gel Play in Pink Champagne to add a little sparkle, cured and then top coated with CNDTM Duraforce.
