Steff Georgiou, of The Nail Designer, reveals shimmery pearl finishes topped with embellishments have been popular with her clients recently.
“I think they’ve been so popular because the various tones in the Swarovski Crystals really stand out and catch your eye and they show natural colours can be just as fun and still make a statement.
“My client wanted something that would match a specific handbag for her anniversary holiday to Mauritius so I used an overlay of The Gel Bottle Inc’s Builder In A Bottle. This added strength to the natural nail as well as offering a cover pink shade. I then decided to burnish a soft white pigment into a no wipe topcoat for a more sheer finish and dotted around some Rose Swarovski Crystals for that extra sparkle to match said bag.
“I absolutely love this look because it’s simple but the sheer finish gives the design that extra ‘something’. The various sizes of Swarovski Crystals add depth and texture and makes them look so elegant!”
