Sara Wilfred, of Sara’s Nail & Lash Boutique, reveals that the simple but glamorous combination of bright pink hues and holographic feature nails have been popular with her clients recently.
“This design shouts summer – and we don’t have long left before the winter sets in, so clients are making the most of the bright shades while the sun still shines.
“The gel polish used is called Miami by The Gel Bottle Inc. and, to add a little something different as opposed to normal glitter, we used a holographic powder by Magpie Beauty, which was a perfect match for this colour. I simply added two coats of Miami, finishing with a no wipe top coat, before using a foundation sponge to rub the holographic powder into the top coat and sealing with a final layer.
“My client was very happy with the finished product and now the holographic powder is being requested more frequently. It’s a nice and easy, yet effective, technique that gives a gorgeous finish.”
