Lisa Blair, of Luma Nails, says abstract nails have been very popular with her clients recently.
“I think abstract nails are getting very popular with clients at the moment. It gives the clients a chance to be creative and also as a nail tech a chance to go a little crazy.
“The client showed me a couple of pictures of abstract nails from Pinterest and we decided on blue as the main colours. I used CND Blue Eyeshadow and CND Creekside for the base, then added some bright silver foil from Lecenté randomly. After that, it was the fun part: I chose a range of coloured gel polish and started doodling. I wasn’t even sure what I was going to do myself. I kept adding colour and shapes until I was happy. I absolutely loved doing these, it was so much fun.
