Lauren Holmes, owner of Nailed It Beauty, has been getting in the swing of spring with plenty of floral nail requests.
“Everyone has been asking for floral nails!” Lauren laughs, “Unlike some nail art trends, flowers have no age limit! Even for people who normally like plain nails, no one can resist a few little flowers.
“Floral designs are mega popular right now thanks to the season, but also because they’re so versatile. You can make flowers as subtle or as extravagant as you like. There’s a floral nail to suit everyone! I always find spring is when most of my clients become more experimental with nail art.
“There are countless ways to create floral nails! Most of them super quick and easy to do. The most popular flowers I find are what I call dotty daisies. To create these simply do five dots of one colour in a circle using a dotting tool to create your petals; then using another colour put a dot in the middle of your petal to create its centre. ”
