Laura Chree, of Chreeative Nails, reveals neon effect shades have been popular with her clients recently.

“I feel this design has been popular with clients because it is so bright. We’re post-Christmas and we’ve made it through the January blues, so these colours are exactly what clients are looking for as they brighten their sets up again. Without going the whole hog and fully committing to an entire neon nail look, we decided to mix traditional with a bold statement. We chose two colours (because when you can’t pick one, go for both). A French tip is a great option for clients because they wear for longer before any growth can be noticed. Traditional, however, does not mean boring – I love leopard print and always try to sneak it in whenever I can!

“I created this design using all Magpie Beauty products. I used Build Me Up in Buff as a thin colouring to the nail plate and mixed their loose neon pigments in Joy and Zara with white gel paint to create the green and yellow shades. Black gel paint was used for the leopard detailing and then I finished off with the Shine Bright Top Coat.”
