Karen Brown, of Sanctuary In The City, reveals pink camouflage has been popular with her clients recently!

“This design is such a cute and fresh set! Girly but not too girly. Camouflage is always a popular design and changing the colours from greens to pinks just makes them so fun and eye catching. This look is great for all times of year as it doesn’t suit one particular season!

“I created this design using Gelica gel polish and a dotting tool. I used the grey as my background and then worked with the pink and black on top. Gelica is just so amazing for artwork as it is so highly pigmented and doesn’t disperse out everywhere when you work with it. Colours I have used are Girl Girl, Stone Cold Sober and Black Raven.

“I love this look as it is eye catching and it is an easy design to create. It is created using gel polish, quickly and easily, so if you don’t have a lot of time in the salon for art and your client wants something a bit different, this is great to do in a rush – camouflage doesn’t have to be perfect because it’s supposed to look rough around the edges. It also looks awesome in a matte finish!”
