Holly Innes, of HLYIB, reveals this J Balvin-inspired nail design has been popular with her clients due to its vibrant colour palette.
“This design has been particularly popular with my clients as the vibrant colours reflect the spring/summer months that are approaching. It’s also a happy and light design – and the client’s personality matches this completely.
“I created this design using all Gelica gel polishes – a top tip is to use in combination with the Gelica Detailer Brush, because it’s so petite that you can perfect the tiny details such as the smile in the flowers. My mentor (Karen Brown) mentioned this to me when I was struggling with a larger brush! I also love that I was able to mix colours with the gel to create exactly the shades I needed.
“The design was inspired by J Balvin, the Latin music artist. His new album cover features the smileys, which was the main focus point for this design!
“I love this design because its so uplifting and looks super positive with the happy faces, which is great in a time where the media is sharing so much negativity. I hope everyone loves them as much as I do!”
