Back To Basics Acrylic Skill Building Workshop
“One of our most popular courses, this is a practical one day workshop is designed for those with an existing acrylic qualification,” explains Louise. “Using CJP Nail Systems’ acrylic range, the course is ideal for those returning to work after a break, those who are newly qualified and lack confidence or those seeking to refresh with the latest skills and techniques.
“The aim of this workshop is to reinforce the basic fundamentals required for long lasting and durable nails. On this course, many aspects of acrylic application are covered, including preparation, mix ratio, bead pick-up and placement, as well as apex building and reverse smile line techniques. There is also a focus on filing and shaping, as well as tip application and an introduction to form fitting. We also teach the Baby Boomer technique.” Maximum class size will be 10.
Tip To Sculpt Conversion
“Developed to meet demand, this course was designed to introduce new techniques to technicians eager to learn the pros of sculpting,” explains Louise. Suitable for all skill level, this is a practical one-day course that focus on the importance of structure, the correct fitting and positioning of a form for popular shapes, as well as troubleshooting for various nail shapes including nail biters. Maximum class size will be 10.
Acrylic Artist
Fun-packed and practical, this workshop sees the chance to create on-trend acrylic nail art designs that are salon-viable and effective. Students are taught a variety of techniques, including marbling, imprinting, encapsulation and ombrés, as well as 3d artwork. Products are provided on the day.
Bubblegum By One Love Nailz One Day Conversion
“Get to grip with Bubblegum By One Love Nailz hybrid system with this accredited and certified course,” says Louise. “Designed for techs with existing enhancement qualifications, the course covers application techniques for tips and sculpting, as well as creating reverse smile lines, the Baby Boomer style and encapsulation techniques. The course cost also includes a free starter kit.”
1-2-1 Training
The academy also offers one-to-one training days, designed to support techs seeking help with specific elements. The sessions are available weekdays with varying dates. With a price of £200, students are also welcome to bring a buddy to split the cost. Products are provided on the day and a deposit is required for booking.
