A group of nail techs took part in Anna Kuznetsova’s 3D French nail workshop held in London. Here, attendee, Elwira Walczak, an international master educator for Mollon Pro, reveals all about the experience…
The nail journey never ends and it is important to learn from the best. At the end of February 2020, we had the great pleasure of hosting nail tech Anna Kuznetsova in London. Anna came from Tyumen in Russia to show us the nail art technique known as 3D French. She invented the technique about two years ago and it became very popular. She never wanted to keep it to herself, so she started to run classes to reveal the secrets of how to achieve the look that we see on her photos on Instagram or Facebook.
The workshop went by very quickly. It wasn’t easy as Anna set the bar very high, but it only made us work harder to achieve better results.
Apart from the 3D French nail art technique that we all had to master, there were different shapes to learn too. Each day she introduced us to a new shape, from salon Almond through to Pipe, Stiletto and the Gothic Almond. Some of us had never worked with extreme shapes before, but Anna guided everyone through all the steps until we got the hang of it.
The results were breathtaking. The best moments were when after filling, we wiped all the dust away and you could see the design that we’d just created. It was quite emotional!
If you’re asking why would I go on another course if I already know what to do, then I would say that from each class you learn something different. It doesn’t matter how experienced you are, there is always something new to learn. This workshop teaches you how to turn simple things using products that we all have in our drawer into something amazing. It develops your creativity and allows your mind to create something completely different.
If after reading this you feel like you’ve missed out on something, well… you did! But don’t worry, as I’m sure it won’t be the last time Anna Kuznetsova and her 3D French workshop are in London. Who knows, we may soon have Anna’s educators here in England, too!
