Spa consultancy suggests welcoming heartbroken clients

A spa consultancy has revealed ‘Break-Up’ spa breaks as a wellness trend to note.
Raison d’Etre describes the break as a trip to ‘helps guests adjust to major life changes’ and for those ‘having to ‘break up’ with previous elements of their lives’, including relationships, life changes or even bereavement.
The consultancy and its Think Tank for Wellness suggest these breaks could cater to the ‘emotional needs of guests’ – seeing emotional healing therapies, stress management sessions and life coaching services, thus expanding the need for spas and offering guests a sense of community and companionship with deeper, more emotionally motivated care.
The trend was identified as part of Raison d’Etre’s set of ‘anti-trends’ wellness ideas for 2018 that spas, retreats and wellness hotels should be making room for.
