The 2025 British Academy Film Awards saw celebrities flaunt stylish and trendsetting manicures.

The star-studded event showcased an impressive roster of nail looks on the red carpet, and these looks are set to influence nail colour and art requests. We’ve rounded up the nail styles of some of your favourite A-list stars…

Always sporting a stylish manicure courtesy of her trusted nail tech, Tom Bachik, it was no surprise that the actress, singer & Rare Beauty founder opted for an effortlessly elegant manicure.

Described by the pro as ‘Selena’s sparkling merlot mani’, the look was the perfect complement to her off-the-shoulder black and crystal Schiaparelli gown.

CND Shellac™ in Needles & Red was credited for the trendy, vampy-red hue, while CND Shellac™ Wear Extender Base Coat, Shellac™ Top Coat and CND SolarOil™ were also applied by the celebrity tech, to enhance the durability and shine of the manicure.

Yet another jaw-dropping, maximalist manicure was worn by nail enthusiast & actress, Cynthia Erivo – stealing attention on the red carpet. Her go-to tech, Mycah Dior of @clawzbydior_, was on hand for the look, which featured lace details, embellishments, French tip nail art, cuticle cuffs and illusion-effect finishes. To create the ‘vintage glamour’ style, the pro used OPI GelColor in Kyoto Pearl and Como Se Llama.

Molly-Mae Hague impressed on the red carpet in a black ruffled dress with a plunging neckline, and her manicure was the perfect accessory. The influencer stuck with her statement neutral-toned nails, opting for a long, oval shape for a ‘natural but better’ look by her nail tech of five years, Corrine Jackson of @nail_it_with_corrine.

Actress, Lucy Boynton, turned heads at the Charles Finch & Chanel Pre-BAFTA Party with this negative space manicure by celeb nail artist, Sabrina Gayle. The tech used PersoNAILity products to prep the nails, before glossing over Chanel Beauty Le Vernis in Pirate to match her vibrant red lip.
