SALON IN THE SPOTLIGHT: The Beauty Lounge Topsham

First-time salon owner, Samantha Lelliott, opened the doors to her new venture February this year. The Beauty Lounge Topsham now serves the local area some much need tranqulity. “Everything we do in the salon is to give people the most relaxed, chilled out and indulgent experience no matter what they are booked in for,” Samantha reveals.
“The salon is unique as we offer a relaxed environment, and have the perfect balance of a friendly, chilled out atmosphere with the highest standards of professionalism. People feel comfortable enough to just pop in for a chat without having appointments which I feel is really important in a small town like Topsham. We try and get involved in the community where we can.”
The salon offers a wide range of beauty treatments from waxing and tinting to tanning, nails, facials and lash extensions. “When I decided to open my own salon, I was very certain on the products I wanted to stock having worked in the industry for such a long time and used many products over the years,” Samantha says. “I chose the products I had full confidence in and whole heartedly believed in myself. We use CND™ for our acrylic nail services, Jessica Custom Colour and Geleration, along with Kissed by Mii tanning and Decleor skin care.”
The salon is tastefully decorated to ensure clients feel calm. “For the décor, I used subtitle tones to keep a calming feel throughout,” Samantha says. “I also chose a wallpaper with trees with all the products being natural where possible. The décor of the salon takes people back to nature and the calming feel of the country side.”
