Seeing bold wallpaper and sassy neon lights, The Beauty Den by Cherrelle was created by Cherrelle Wright to offer a nail haven for clients.
“I worked full time from a salon self employed until I had my third son,” Cherrelle explains. “I realised it wasn’t going to be as easy to work for long hours, so I decided to work from an extension on our family house. I wanted to still be close to my children but also provide a relaxed atmosphere for clients. Moving my business also now means clients can bring their children to appointments as we have an outdoor play area for children.”
Specialising in nail treatments, Cherrelle offer services using Glitterbels, Claw Culture and Gelish. “I plan to grow and offer a lash services from a ‘Eyelash Hideout’, as well as install a Spray Tanning Hut and Make-up Den,” Cherrelle adds. “I am qualified in waxing, lash services and other beauty treatments.”
The salon makes a serious statement with its tropical wallpaper and raised platform, complete with a blush pink chair. “When decorating my salon space I drew everything how I wanted it to look like on a piece of paper,” remembers Cherrelle. “I showed my plans to the joiners – and they created exactly what I drew!
“I wanted it to be fun, different and happy! I didn’t want one running theme; I wanted a bit of everything. Since I opening the salon, pink has a very popular colour with my clients, as well as fun, wacky nail design. I think they’ve been influenced by my decor!”
