By Kat Hill | 29 August 2018 | Feature, Salon & Spas

Having worked from home previously, Sarah Vernon Cowell knew it was time for a new working space when she started to outgrow her set-up. “I started up the business seven years ago,” Sarah reveals. “I worked from a log cabin from home. Over the years, I worked hard to build up my clientele.”
Now in a newly built salon, Sarah is enjoying the new space. “This salon got built one year ago,” Sarah says. “I wanted to give it a warm and homely feeling and environment. There’s warm and light colours with a modern but a shabby chic twist to the décor.
“I offer a range treatments including waxing, eye treatments and acrylic nail treatments. While this new salon was being built, I turned my original salon into my training academy. While offering salon treatments and nails five days a week to my clients, I also I teach one day a week.
“Running a business as well as nurturing a family is very hard work, but I am determined to succeed. I believe my hard work is paying off. My salon may be small but it’s warming, welcoming and very busy.”
