Salon in the Spotlight: Pinks Nail & Beauty Salon, Kingsbury

After working at Pinks Nail & Beauty Salon since 2015, Kate Szabo was given the opportunity to purchase the salon from its previous owner in 2019.
“At Pinks, we focus on delivering the highest standard of service, focusing on customising treatments for our customers needs,” Kate explains. “Our whole team are highly qualified, award-winning professionals, including three beauty therapists and four nail technicians.”

“We offer a wide range of beauty treatments, including specialised CND Shellac manicures and Hollywood waxing. Our beauticians have their very own technique to make the waxing experience almost painless,” she smiles. “We also offer facials, microdermabrasion, gold collagen hydrofacials, St Tropez tans and HD brows.
“Our best selling treatment is a CND Shellac manicure and pedicure. Most of the time we use CND Shellac, but we also offer OPI, China Glaze and Crystal Nails gel polishes, to make sure we cover all colours of the rainbow. We are proud to offer hundreds of colours and such a broad selection to our clients.”

“In the first Coronavirus lockdown, we decided to refurbish the salon. I am so lucky and grateful to be around amazing people who inspire me every day. For our décor, we choose blush pink colour with rose gold features,” Kate reveals. “The decor totally reflects the Pinks team – it’s very girly and feminine. We paid close attention to detail, as we do with the treatments we offer.
“We have fresh flowers every week and lots of candles. Almost every client compliments how lovely the atmosphere is. At Pinks, everything is calm and relaxing. We wanted to create a little hiding spot where you can run away from reality for a few hours and forget about all your worries.”
