Salon in the Spotlight: Manor Farm Spa & Clinic and Revive Beauty, Lamport, Northants

“After living in rural Northamptonshire all of my life and always travelling into the town for beauty treatments, I felt there was a need to open a salon within a village,” reveals Tanya. “When driving past a farm in Lamport one day and noticed a sign stating there were ‘barns available’. The lightbulb moment happened! Within four months, two barn conversions had taken place and we were ready to open.”
Now stands Manor Farm Spa & Clinic and Revive Beauty, offering it clientele a huge variety of treatments from a picturesque setting. “I believe there are no other salons in Northamptonshire that offer everything,” beams Tanya. “The variety of treatments are so vast, for example you can have a gel polish manicure but then have a wart removed!
“Manor Farm Clinic is the only clinic in Northampton that has the full range of Cryosthetic treatments, consisting of CryoPen, Coolift Gun and Lipocontrast. The latest gadget to hit the Clinic is ‘SkinPen’ its a microneedling treatment that aids the production of collagen and elastin to delay the signs of aging or to help decrease the appearance of wrinkles, this treatment is especially effective for acne scarring as it resurfaces the skin, leaving a fresh new even complexion.
“Our Revive Beauty Barn offers all nail treatments from Luxury Spa manicures or pedicures to acrylic nail services. We use Gelish and Magpie Glitters, Cuccio for manicures and pedicures. Brow treatments are very popular for us. Using Billion Dollar Brow techniques and products, the client receives not only amazing brows but a one to one masterclass to help them maintain their brows. We also offer a full range of Lycon waxing, with a choice of strawberry or chocolate scent! We have recently launched Nouveau lashes including its latest treatment LVL eyelashes.”
With its extensive offering, the clinic and salon has not compromised on style and features a décor design to enhance its location. “We decided to keep all the natural features of the barns,” explains Tanya. “The beautiful high beams and original doors take pride of place. To complement such character, the decision was made for a high end luxury feel.
“We created a delicate vintage space within the entrance and current tea parlour. Within the main beauty space the wallpaper compliments the bespoke beautiful furniture. The Clinic with the exposed beams and calming tones its perfect setting for high end treatments to create a tranquil atmosphere that’s not too medical.”
