Salon in the Spotlight: Lizzy’s Nails, Norfolk

Starting out as a mobile technician, Lizzy Wade built up a loyal clientele and was soon seeking a more permanent base for her beauty business. “I decided to set up a salon space at home,” Lizzy explains. “This meant I could fit more clients into my busy schedule and arrange appointments back-to-back.”

Using Bio Sculpture Gel, Lizzy’s most requested service is a natural nail overlay with arty additions. “Most of my clients love crazy nail art!” she beams. “I really enjoy creating nail designs.”

Keen to share her passion, Lizzy has branded out into education. “I love helping other techs so also offer one-to-one nail art sessions from my home salon. They’ve proved really popular.”

Welcoming with washes of sage and warming natural tones, the workspace has provided the ideal space for clients and fellow techs alike. “I love my work space,” Lizzie reveals. “I enjoy putting my artwork around the salon: I created the world map using string hanging above my nail desk.

“I enjoy making different types of art; much like nails, they can be personalised, truly making them unique.”
