By Kat Hill | 10 June 2020 | Feature, Salon & Spas
With its twinkling feature wall of fairy lights, Little Blank Spaces in Inverness offers clients the chance to unwind will receiving a pampering courtesy of owner & Magpie Beauty educator, Ruth Munro.
“Although I am a total tomboy, Little Blank Spaces is a princess paradise,” smiles Ruth. “I love it!
“I wanted to create a place where everyone could feel cosy, relaxed and pretty.”
The pretty pink studio is compact, seeing a smart, professional workspace for Ruth with a homely feel. “My walls are covered with cherry blossoms and birds,” Ruth continues. “The fairy lights are one of my favourite features.”
“I also have the complete Magpie Beauty range on display. The brand’s products are far too pretty to keep hidden! They always catch everyone’s attention, too.”
The space also serves as the ideal, flexible set-up for the Ruth’s education programme. “When I am teaching my courses, I move the office section of the space and change the desks into two nail stations for my students,” Ruth explains.
“For teaching live online courses, I move my nail station to the back of my room which is great for easy access to all of my Magpie goodies.”
Keen to up-to-date with trends, Ruth is looking into ways to refresh the space, too. “I have plans for a flower feature wall display and a customised nail desk in the future. I’m really excited about it all.
“Watch this space!”
