Selling her share of her previous salon to set up her own, Marie McFarlane and her husband fully converted a ground floor one bedroom flat into Kulture.
“I was inspired to open my own salon as I have recently qualified in teaching, so will be running Kulture School of Beauty in the very near future from here too.”
“I have an amazing team of five, including beauty therapists, lash technicians and an aesthetics practitioner,” Marie explains. “We use brands such as HD Brows, Dermalogica, Elim Mediheel, Noveau Lash and The Gel Bottle.”
“I wanted a very natural, calming vibe for the salon,” she reveals. “I decided to opt for neutral shades, and added pampas grass for our feature window display.”
“I feel like my natural décor choices have a calming and relaxing effect on clients.”
“Our pedicure stations have proved to be a huge hit with ladies coming in pairs,” Marie reveals. “Our clients love coming in and enjoying a Prosecco while they get pampered!”
