Established in 2016 by Kelly Crawley, Kelly’s Beauty Box outgrew its roots as a home salon and expanded into a new premises in May 2021.
“Opening our new premises has been very exciting for us. Our aim is to provide the most relaxing and friendly service to all our clients during their visit to us, ensuring clients always feel welcome and pampered from the moment they walk through the door.”
“Microblading has recently become very popular in the beauty industry and we were keen to be able to introduce and offer this treatment to clients,” Kelly explains. “We are fully licensed and insured at our new premises, offering a free consultation to anyone interested in this increasingly popular treatment.
“As well as microblading, we also offer manicures, pedicures, gel nails, hair removal, semi-permanent eyelash extensions, eye treatments, dermaplaning and cryotherapy.”
“The beauty industry is always changing,” she smiles. “New treatments are constantly becoming available, and new products are always being released on the market.
“I think that having the latest colours for clients to choose from is important and enhances the overall experience for the client.”
“I am always looking to expand my knowledge and further my training to ensure new treatments and products are provided.”
“To set ourselves apart from other salons in the area, we opted to decorate the salon with a flower wall and a neon light covering the wall where nail treatments are carried out.
“The flower wall and neon light create a trendy and exciting feeling for our clients while having their nail treatments,” Kelly reveals. “On each nail desk, there is also a phone charging point integrated into the nail desk lamp, which is free for all clients to use while having their treatment. This extra feature is appreciated by clients and provides convenience, enhancing their visit to us.”
“Velvet was chosen for furniture such as chairs, to give a premium and plush feeling to the salon, which is enhanced by gold accents, seen in our fixtures, fittings and decorative items,” she describes. “We chose blush pink and white for our colour scheme in the salon to give a trendy, vibrant, and feminine feeling to the salon.
“Pink is a sign of hope and is a positive colour, inspiring warm and comforting feelings. The colour calms and reassures our emotional energies, which I felt would have a positive impact on the clients experience.”
