Salon in the Spotlight: Buffed Beauty Bar, West Yorkshire

Starting as a cosy salon, Buffed Beauty Bar in Keighley, West Yorkshire, has grown with Bethany Savage’s career.

After moving to a bigger premises in November, the salon has now become a Glitterbels training academy and shop.

“We have an amazing team at Buffed,” smiles Bethany. “We offer everything from manicures to make up and lash treatments. We have amazing products and a talented team who work endless to make each client feel amazing.

“As the nail technician and a Glitterbels educator, I’m able to offer all forms of treatment and advanced nail art and designs, as well as training for students.”

The space is inviting for clients and students alike in washes of chic pink and white. “The salon is girly, with loads of flowers and details,” continues Bethany. “There are gorgeous flowers all over the salon, LED signs and a comfy sofa. It’s a warm, clean and inspiring place to work.

“I wanted it to feel modern, too. I also took inspiration from the Glitterbels product range, so included pink, white and gold.

“The salon also has a candy striped feature wall. I also love the old style windows in the salon, too.

“The salon inspires my nail art and designs. It’s such a relaxing and calm space; my students never want to leave after their courses!

“It gives me amazing pride that they feel so comfortable to return.”
