Salon in the Spotlight: BLINX Beauty Studio, Leyland, Lancashire

Decorated in pretty pink and copper tones, BLINX Beauty Studio is celebrating over a year in its new location. “To start with, I was renting a room for lash extension services,” explains owner, Natasha Gorner. “It didn’t take long for it to turn into my full-time job. After two years renting rooms, I decided I wanted to open my own studio.”
Orginally offering lash treatments, the salon has expanded into beauty services too. “We currently have a team of three,” explains Natasha. We all love coming to work and have a great laugh together. It’s a good atmosphere.
“We offer lashes, brows, nails, waxing and dermaplaining. We enjoy getting creative with nails, plus Henna Brows are very popular at the moment.
“For nails we use Glitterbells, The Gel Bottle Inc and CJP. For brow services, we use Browcode and London Lash. Our waxing treatments use Waxperts.”
Based in a new office complex, the salon space has been converted in an upbeat, trendy beauty zone. “I wanted the salon to have a feminine yet scandi feel to it,” reveals Natasha. “I selected pinks, greys and copper throughout, along with lots of fluff and a touch of floral.
“Everyone that comes in seems to like the decor and comments on it so it’s a good talking point.”
