Having established her business and client base as a mobile technician and being home-based, Natalia Moore knew it was time to expand and find a bigger base for her business.
“After six years, I expanded in 2016 and moved to a larger premises as the business was growing from strength to strength,” smiles Natalie Moore. “We needed a larger team and wanted to add more services to our treatment list.
“Now, we have a team of 15 women at Bello Amor Beauty & Academy, all of whom specialise in different treatments. Four of us are Bello Amor employees and the rest are self-employed, all growing their businesses alongside ours. We are a team of supportive women who empower one another and help each other grow.
“With the training side of the business, we work together to bring Liverpool specialist masterclasses in makeup, hairdressing, nail training and beauty therapy training. Recently we became a master eyelash academy as I became a qualified teacher and launched my own lash line, Amor Lash Pro. In the next coming months, accredited foundation courses will be available to beginners, and we then plan to expand the course list to other beauty treatments, such as nails, spray tans and makeup. We are in talks with collaborating with some big brands.
“I believe we have brought some of the UK’s leading nail technicians and makeup artists to the salon showcasing their skills and will be bringing so much more in the next 12 months.
Moving to the new premise has allowed Natalie and her team to grow the salon’s menu. “We have introduced many new treatments, from hairdressing, facials, aesthetics and SPMU, to massage, reiki, cupping, pedicures, spray tans!”
The salon itself seeks a sleek and professional décor. “The ground floor is all white – including a white floor, walls and ceiling. We also have a huge crystal chandelier as the centre piece, all the furniture is white with champagne velvet furnishings. The look is minimalistic as I didn’t want it to appear cluttered, yet I feel it looks clean and fresh. It’s clinical yet luxurious. The first floor sees two hair stations, which are decorated in an Art Deco theme, with a touch of glamour.
“To add a splash of colour and fun, the training room is flamingo themed. It’s a warm, fun space that has a girly vibe been a big hit with both trainers and students. The private beauty room is warm with beige and toffee tones – perfect for offering a relaxed atmosphere for quiet treatments. While the second floor sees our skincare specialist’s, Sam, room, which is bright, fresh and welcoming, perfect for the clients wanting to relax and escape life worries for a few hours.”
