Salon in the Spotlight: Belle Voir, Huddersfield

Paris Evans established Belle Voir in 2019 and is situated in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
“Keeping in line with French names, mine being Paris, Belle Voir translates into beautiful view which felt fitting for my clients in my first salon and future journey.”
“In 2021, Belle Voir commenced on a journey of expansion with the purchase of new and larger premises which have been undergoing refurbishment for 6 months whilst the existing salon remained open and running,” Paris explains. “So, not only have I been a salon owner, offering the full list of treatments to my clients, but I have also been project manager, decorator, and interior designer all wrapped up in one.
“Although my salon only opened in 2019, I have 12 years experience within the beauty industry, and making my clients feel and look confident and beautiful is my aim.”
“Belle Voir opened the new and larger premises on 4th January 2022, bringing a unique, wild, and energetic interior to the world of beauty,” she beams. “This has enabled Belle Voir to now offer two private treatment rooms, two pedicure stations, a nail bar, and a waiting area for two people.
“The plan now will be to advertise and recruit someone who is as passionate as myself, which will enable Belle Voir to take on more and new clients.”
“In addition, my future plans entail exploring and offering new and exciting treatments.
“To date, I have been the only worker at Belle Voir,” Paris reflects. “However, with the bigger premises, the vision is now to build a team who will all offer top notch treatments that meets my clients expectations.”
“The pictures speak for themselves – the salon is comfortable, yet reflects my bubbly character in the choice of interior, which separates me from others.
“I have spent 12 years developing and perfecting my beauty skills,” she reveals. “My eye for art is encompassed in my unique and sometimes wacky nail designs which have won awards and been recognised across many social media platforms.”
“My salon would be considered loud and bold, just how I like it! The colour clashing makes it unique and different.”
“I offer a wide variety of treatments, such as gel nails, gel extensions, acrylics, nail art, all area waxing and tints, all types of massages including lava shell, LVL lashes and lash extensions, semi permanent make up, dermaplaning, microneedling, brow sculpt and Henna brows.
“I specialise in nail art, and there isn’t a design that I have not been able to achieve,” Paris beams. “This keeps my clients constantly coming back for more wild and wacky designs.”
“I have incorporated a lot of colours into my new salon, which brings colour clashing to life,” she observes. “Greens and pinks runs throughout, with the other colours adding to the spicy theme!
“Wall paneling, herringbone flooring, a glass front, my light up sign and a black ceiling were my must haves in this new and vibrant salon. A personalised pedicure station was built and you will find some cheeky signs to make you smile.”
“Call me flamboyant, but the salon looks amazing, and has attracted so much positive feedback! As I always say, there’s a method in my madness.
I wanted my salon to reflect my out there sense of style, which it’s done perfectly,” Paris states. “Although the colours are vibrant, the atmosphere is calm and relaxing when treatments are in progress. It’s a safe and confidential space where clients have become regulars.”
“The colour green represents rebirth and progress, which defines my journey to date and my ever evolving ideas,” she smiles. “The colours combined are refreshing, unique and rejuvenating which is how I always want my clients to feel.
“Owning my own salon and the premises has allowed me to invest and create the perfect space that I know is mine forever and one where clients love to be and want to return to.”
