Having been in the beauty industry for 12 years, Leanne Steel opened her home salon last year. With a name that represents both her passion for beauty and her own personality, the name ‘Beautifulea’ was the perfect play on words.
“I took a risk but the first year has exceeded my expectations, thanks to my wonderful clients and close family and friends who believed in and supported me,” smiles Leanne.
“My style is relaxed yet professional and I aim to offer an experience that I would expect myself. I’m a bit of a perfectionist! If clients feel like they have spent time with a friend, knowing that their treatment has been performed to the highest standard with passion and attention to detail, then I feel I am doing my job properly.
Calm and quiet, Leanne’s home salon is elegantly decorated – a haven for her clients. “The ambiance was important as I wanted to provide a space in which clients can fully relax and take themselves away from busy schedules,” Leanne explains. “Many comment on how quiet the room is and I get lots of compliments on the decor. I chose the colour scheme of white, grey, and lilac with touches of sparkle as it is modern and feminine.”
Offering nail, hand and foot treatments with ibd Just Gel and Orly, lash services, facials, massage, waxing and spray tanning, Leanne’s menu is a complete one. Keen to grow her services even further, she recently trained in Epibrow 3D microblading. “I absolutely love it,” Leanne enthuses. “Semi-permanent make up is so on trend, it was the right time to challenge myself as a therapist and it’s great to be able to offer this advanced treatment.”
