Here, I’m giving you a little peek inside my kit bag – I’m going to reveal the products I love, the ones I simply couldn’t live without and my Fashion Week essentials.

I’ve never worked in a salon, so I’ve only ever worked with a session kit. The obvious main difference between my kit and that in a salon setup is that my entire kit is transportable, which at times calls for a little imagination and creativity. My basic kit pretty much reflects those of the artists I assisted when I started out, but I’ve tweaked and customised it as the years have passed and I’ve gained more experience.

I have a basic kit that I take on each job without fail. I change it up whenever I’m lucky enough to get a brief beforehand but most of the time I take everything, as you never know what you might get asked to do. I have a full gel kit that I take on big jobs where I might have been lucky enough to get a brief beforehand, and for all celebrity work.

My Fashion Week kit is pretty much the same as my basic kit but without taking all of the colours, as I will usually use products from the nail sponsor, I do however use some great modular boxes from Muji. There are loads of different sized boxes that fit inside each other so you can create one that suits your kit, making life easy when moving from model to model.

As always, shout me on social media if you have any questions or want to share some of your session secret weapons – I would love to here from you. My best piece of advice is if in doubt, take it anyway!
