Zsuzsanna ‘Susan’ Varga, a nail technician with over 15 years’ experience, has launched a photography course to support the posts of fellow pros.

The four-hour masterclass, held at Susan’s Peterborough base, is designed to help techs take attention-grabbing photos of their salon nail work using their phones. It covers:
- Skin & nail preparation.
- Phone settings.
- Setup: background & props.
- Lighting.
- Hand positions.
- Editing.

“While I may not be a professional photographer, my love for capturing nail art has been an integral part of my career,” Susan explains. “Nail technicians should learn how to photograph their nail creations well, as it is a cheap and effective form of business advertising. In this masterclass, I teach pros how to take eye-catching photos that are pleasing for social media, with the aim of attracting new clients.
“These photos can then be used on the nail pro’s website, business cards, or on posters and flyers.”

The masterclass is kept small for focused attention, and priced at £150. No kit or model is required.
