About Catherine

Catherine Wong is a Singapore-based educator and online course developer with a passion for nail art technology and entrepreneurship.

“I’m super excited to share with you my 18 years of experience and knowledge in education for the nail industry. I’ve worked with global brands as a master educator for EzFlow, NfuOh, Akzentz and Odyssey Nail Systems. I’ve collaborated with Australian champion Viv Simmonds to teach internationally under the name VivCat Design. I have trained with industry icons, Tom Holcomb, Danny Haile, Alisha Rimando, Tom Bachik, Trang Nguyen, Enfu Oh, Lilija Michalikova and count many global nail champions among my peers.

Catherine has launched a series of online classes to guide nail pros through various nail art techniques using L&P acrylic. The series is made up of four classes, which can also be taken individually according to each nail professional’s needs.

Class 1 – Foundation of 3D Flowers

This class is suitable for anyone who wants to master the foundation of creating 3D flowers. The goal of this class is to create clarity and realism in your flowers and colour co-ordination. You will learn seamless techniques to create gradation of colours in your 3D flowers.

There is a bonus class included using coloured acrylic powder for painting. This class is important for anyone who wants to progress to an advanced level of working with coloured acrylics.

Class 2 – Cute Cartoons

This class focuses on constructing freeform shapes, textures and details with coloured acrylic powders to create cute characters as a form of popular nail art style.

You will learn four designs with different levels of difficulty. The lesson will cover brush angles, brushwork, product control and placement of powders and working on details using 100% acrylic powder.
