MANI MONDAY: Mini masterpieces

Begin the week the right way with some nail inspiration this mani Monday!
Why not turn your client’s nails into literal mini masterpieces? Mei Kawajiri (@nailsbymei) took inspiration from an art piece and paid homage to its creator, Donald Robertson: one of her client’s favourite artists.
Donald Robertson is a career artist and has worked in the fashion and cosmetics industry, beginning alongside the founders of MAC Cosmetics and most recently in creative development at the Estee Lauder Companies. He also launched American Marie Claire before redesigning American Glamour.
The nail design features a repetition of hand painted abstract female figures dressed in bikinis on coffee-nude gel polish, sealed with a high shine topcoat.
Really staying true to the idea of nail ‘art’, the design is both full of culture and makes for a beautifully chic look.
