Earlier this week, I was lucky enough to spend the day with the Lecenté team at its Create Training Event.
The event saw educators and ambassadors gather, as well as some of the brand’s European distributors.
The day kicked off with a warm welcome from head of marketing & communications, Katrina Ross, and, co-founder, Ged Cientanni. “I want to thank each and every one of you for making the long journeys you have to spend the day with us,” Ged smiled.
Co-founder, Maria Cientanni, took to the stage next to talk about Lecenté’s latest launch – the Create soak-off gel polish system. Marie shared details about the system’s development, testing and manufacturing processes.
“I felt I needed a new challenge to take us as a brand forward,” Maria said. “When I say Create was three years in the making – and it was.
“There was so many factors we had to take onboard: what did we want the product to be? What did we feel was missing from the market? Even down to how did we want the bottle to look.
“We wanted to create a product that was HEMA-free, hypoallegenic – factors like that take an incredibly long time, but Create is unique to us.”
The Lecenté team then circled the room, presenting each guest with a black box. Together, everyone lifted their lid to reveal a box full of goodies. Gifts included a cuticle tool, Lecenté badge, branded apron and mug.
The box also saw brand new products due for release soon. I’m sworn to secrecy about them – but I know Lecenté fans will not be disappointed!
The day then saw practical demonstrations from The Naildresser, Theresa Foddering, as well as the chance to try out products. The Lecenté team were on hand to answer questions and share top tips.
Attendees also had the chance to try out the brand new Create Builder Gel – due for release soon. The Builder Gel is soak-off, HEMA-free and made in the UK. It can be used for natural nail overlays to add strength or create enhancements with tips or by sculpting.
Set to be an exciting year, the Lecenté team also shared its plans for 2020 across the business.
The event also saw the chance to scoop prizes, too. Guests were invited to guess the number of glitter pots in a large jar – with Sherrie Ferris awarded for nailing the total exactly. Other awards were handed out to top preforming ambassadors and distributors.
The day saw plenty of smiles, nail knowhow and – most importantly – a shared passion for the new Create system.
