What is your all-time favourite nail product?
My all-time favourite nail product must be Gelish Structure Gel. It is so versatile I can use it in all most any nail service, and both my clients and students are going mad for the new Cover Pink shade!
Who do you admire in the industry?
The person I admire the most in this industry is Georgie Smedley because she really invests a lot of time and resources in to her education team to make us the best we can be to deliver training. She also invests a lot of time is Nail Harmony UK customers, finding out what they want and delivering it as well as offering technical help which not a lot in her position do. Since working with NHUK, I’ve also got to know her more as a funny, caring and compassionate individual.
What designs do you love to create?
I love to create pretty much anything that my clients request; I enjoy doing nail art and have gained a lot of custom from offering this service. My absolute favourite design to create is one stroke nail art which in my opinion is timeless. Whatever the latest trend I will always love one stroke and one stroke gel art with the new, upcoming gel paints from Nail Harmony.
If you had to pick one, what nail colour would characterise your personality?
This was the hardest question that I have had to answer… but I am going to go with purple because this is what I was drawn to. Depending on shade, this colour has a lot of personalities from fun and bright to sophisticated, like myself it will mix with any other colour and throwing in some glitter will make a great team!
What treatment or nail technique are you planning to add to your services?
This year I am planning to add to my services and my teaching calendar Morgan Taylor Bare Luxury Manicure and Pedicure. I trained in it at nail harmony international educator training UK 2018, and I really feel that the brand offers luxurious products with amazing properties, prescription treatment system and a professional finish with their lacquer range.
What is the most exciting thing about the UK nail industry?
The thing I like the most about the UK nail industry is how innovative and fast paced it is as well as the support from other techs across the country. I have made many friends in this industry and we all have one goal which is to become a better tech and to help others in the process.
If you weren’t doing nails, what would you be doing?
If I weren’t doing nails I fear I would have had to complete my degree in law – and that really isn’t me!
